The National Cinema Center of Armenia, together with the Moscow Cinema, following the new rules of quarantine, is launching a series of screenings entitled "Cinema on Stage" in the summer (open-air) hall of the cinema.

The primary goal of the program is to bring the public out of the cultural pause, to provide a happy and festive film mood by presenting some of the best Armenian music and comedy films on the big screen (Arman Manaryan - "Karine", Leon Isahakyan - "Road to the Circus", GG Melik-Avagyan - "Gohar Gasparyan sings", NKVagharshyan, H. Malyan - "A drop of honey").

The program aims to support one of the most hospitable cultural centers of our city, "Moscow" cinema, which is in a difficult situation due to the epidemic (like all cinemas in the world), by providing all the proceeds from the sale of movie tickets.

The screenings will take place on Saturdays and Sundays at 20:00, September 19-27. Tickets can be purchased 2 hours before the screening of each film at the box office at the entrance to the hall (cost 1000 AMD).


"Karine", 1967, Hayfilm, musical comedy (screening of Tigran Chukhachyan's operetta "Leblebiji Hor-Hor agha"), 89 minutes. Screenplay: L. Gharagyozyan, AJ Manaryan (with the participation of Yervand Manaryan), director: Araman Manaryan, cameraman: Marat Varzhapetyan, artist: VZPadpomogov, music: Ghazaros Saryan, Tigran Mansuryan.

Cast: Lida Harutyunyan, A. Kajvoryan, Arman Kotikyan, Varduhi Varderesyan, Zhenya Avetisyan, Tigran Lonyan, Yervand Manaryan and others.


"Gohar Gasparyan sings", 1963, Hayfilm, music, 60 minutes. The film, consisting of 11 short stories, is based on classical musical compositions, performed by world-famous singer Gohar Gasparyan.

"Road to the Circus", 1963, "Hayfilm" film studio, comedy, 74 minutes.

 The film, shot in the Yerevan circus, tells the story of a talented young man, Leonid, who is the younger son of respected professor Yengibaryan. He wants to become a clown. Leonid's first attempts to work in the circus fail, but the talented artist finally overcomes his way with dignity. The latter also played the main role.

 "A drop of honey", 1982 Հայ, Hayfilm, film-performance (according to Tumanyan's tales), 65 minutes. The film is a film version of a unique performance based on Hovhannes Tumanyan's fairy tales.
