KOVID-19 epidemic has significantly affected Armenia's cultural heritage, tourism, and since March 16, 2020, the country's museums have closed their doors to visitors. It's been five months since the museums stopped accepting visitors, communicating with the public only through digital platforms. Some museums have been able to meet the digital challenge, but not all have been able to do so, often due to lack of equipment or lack of digital skills.
In the first stage of the program, support is directed to 36 museums and reserve-museums in 5 regions of Armenia: Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Vayots Dzor-Syunik. The choice of regions is conditioned by the geography of activities carried out by "My Armenia".
