BELARUS TO ALLOCATE LAND FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIAN CHURCH
The Presidents of Belarus and Armenia had a telephone conversation on July 2, Belnovosti reports with reference to the press service of Alexander Lukashenko.

According to the source, Armen Sarkissian congratulated his  Belarusian counterpart on the upcoming Independence Day. In addition, the two heads of state discussed the prospects for bilateral  cooperation and the implementation of joint projects. The topic of  the coronavirus pandemic was also raised. In this regard, Armen  Sarkissian praised the Belarusian experience in confronting COVID-19. 

In addition, the President of Armenia expressed gratitude to Belarus  for effective cooperation with the High-Tech Park. According to the  Armenian leader, his country gained useful experience in this area.

The heads of the two states also discussed a number of political  issues, including the election campaign in Belarus, as well as the  "troubled situation in Armenia." Armen Sarkissian thanked the  interlocutor for the fact that in Belarus it was decided to allocate  land for the construction of the Armenian church.
