Hrazdan Received the Expert Group
On November 15, the visits to the towns, which compete for the RA 2020 Youth Capital started. The cities that have applied are Hrazdan, Armavir, Gavar, Goris and Kapan.

The Competition Organizing Committee and experts made their first visit to Hrazdan city of Kotayk Province. The expert group was accompanied by the Chief Specialist of Education, Culture and Sport Department of Hrazdan Municipality Armen Ayvazyan throughout the day and Vanuhi Bareghamyan, Community Program Officer.

They first was hosted by the Mayor Sevak Mikaelyan. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Mayor, the Staff Secretary, the Head of the Department of Education, Culture and Sport, the Program Officer and others. Mayor Sevak Mikaelyan welcomed those present and answered the questions of the experts.

2019 is a jubilee year for Hrazdan. The city is celebrating its 60th anniversary. Hrazdan is a unique city that was founded 60 years ago based on the former 7 villages. They have now become neighborhoods. During the celebrations dedicated to the 60th anniversary, each district was presented with its own special coloring by the youth.

There are 20 educational institutions in the community: preschools, art and music schools, a youth creative center - the former Pioneer Palace (free of charge), as well as youth sports school (free of charge).

Another advantage is that these centers are open for the people over the age of 18. There are also private centers for dance, song and more in the city. The municipality, in its turn, constantly supports and encourages young people who have achieved sports and cultural success.

According to Armen Ayvazyan, the youth of Hrazdan have really great potential, so they will actively vote for Hrazdan to become the youth capital of 2020.

By the way, if you want Hrazdan to become the youth capital of 2020, you can actively vote by November 25 by sending an EMHR short message to 1041. The cost of 1 SMS is 50 AMD.
