Pianist Luiza Kostanyan gives solo concert
On June 18, student of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory and young pianist Luiza Kostanyan gave a solo concert at the Conservatory.
Luiza, 18, has been playing the piano for the past decade. In an interview with’s correspondent, the pianist stated that it took her about a month to rehearse for the concert and that she had rehearsed with a high sense of responsibility.
“I hope the audience likes the concert since I will be performing very beloved and very beautiful works,” Luiza Kostanyan stated.
According to her, the concert wouldn’t have been possible without all the rehearsals and the instructive advice from her beloved professors, including Merited Art Figure of the Republic of Armenia, Professor Sergey Kechek and lecturer of the concertmaster preparatory class, Professor Gohar Toroyan.
Violinist Karine Arakelyan and pianist Maneh Danielyan joined the young pianist during the concert.
The concert featured performances of the works of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Milhaud, Mendelssohn, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Arensky and Babajanyan.
