This year, the events will be held in association with the Second International Forum of Eurasian Partnership.
The youth forum is aimed at consolidating and strengthening young people in Russia and Armenia and advancing the ideas and values of Eurasian integration. The above-mentioned event is organized by the Armenian Youth Association of Moscow with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
The main organizational partner is the “Armenian-Russian Youth Unity” organization.
The forum began with opening remarks by Head of Integration and Development Research and Analysis NGO Aram Safaryan; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia Ivan Volinkin; Deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Haik Babukhanyan; Head of the Department of Youth Policies at the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Tamara Torosyan; Head of the Center for Strategic Programs of the Russian Federation Yelena Godovikh and others.
Aram Safaryan particularly stated the importance of this and similar forums. According to him, this is a major platform for young people to show their potential, express themselves, listen to the opinions of professionals and refer to them in practice.
On behalf of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, Head of the Department of Youth Policies at the Ministry Tamara Torosyan greeted all the participants and stated that this forum has gathered talented young Russians and Armenians who are considering issues that are very important and interesting for both countries. “Unquestionably, this is laying a new foundation for further enhancement of the circles of the existing partnership between the
two countries,” Tamara Torosyan stated and added that this cooperation will definitely be targeted at the development of various sectors in both countries.
Head of the Center for Strategic Programs of the Russian Federation Yelena Godovikh expressed gratitude to all the participants. According to her, there comes a moment in the life of every young person when he realizes that he needs to become more educated and grow. “This forum unquestionably serves as a good opportunity to accomplish goals and turn ideas into a reality. Many are participating for the first time or second time, while others are participating for the third time, but I assure you that this will not be the last time because there is still a lot of work to do together and joint projects to carry out together,” Yelena Godovikh stated.
Let us add that the forum featured a full session held with the participation of representatives of the public administration bodies of Russia and Armenia and experts, as well as panel sessions held with the participation of the leaders in forming public opinion and business structures. Among the issues discussed during the full session were the results of the creation of a unified information area in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and the trends for development, the humanitarian aspects of Eurasian integration, digital economy, the modern requirements for the preparation of specialists, the workforce in the Eurasian area and other major issues.
A contest for innovative ideas of youth of Russia and Armenia for cooperation in the humanitarian and cultural sectors was held as part of the forum.
In the evening, the participants of the forum met in a different environment to relax and interact.
