Aznavour’s nominal star to be unveiled at Hollywood Walk of Fame
World famous Armenian chansonnier Charles Aznavour is one of the famous artists who have their nominal stars at the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Actors Gina Lollobrigida, Kirsten Dunst, Jeff Goldblum, Richard Branson and Simon Cowell and rapper Snoop Dogg are also on the list.

The decision was made by the Walk of Fame Selection Committee, the Chair of which — director and producer Vin Di Bona — stated that it was a great pleasure for the Walk of Fame Selection Committee to announce the names of the recipients of the nominal star.

“We have examined every candidate in detail, and we believe we have succeeded in selecting truly talented people who have a large army of fans and are loved around the world,” the Selection Committee’s Chair said.

He also expressed confidence that each person with a nominal star will be proud to be a part of Hollywood.

The unveiling of the nominal stars will be held in 2018.

In 2016, at the initiative of the Armenians of California, the star of Charles Aznavour was unveiled on the opposite side of the Hollywood Walk of Fame not far from the Pantages Theater. During the grand event, Senator of California Kevin de Leon had granted the symbolic key of Los Angeles to the chansonnier.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is located in northeastern Los Angeles and was officially opened on November 23, 1960.
