RA Deputy Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Arsen Karamyan meets with representatives of youth NGOs
On November 3, Deputy Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Arsen Karamyan held a working meeting with representatives of youth non-governmental organizations at the RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs.

The scopes of and directions for cooperation between the authorized state management body for implementation of the youth policy and non-governmental organizations for next year were specified during the meeting.

The Deputy Minister presented the priority objective of the RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs for the youth policy sector in 2017 and the main areas of youth work enshrined in the Program of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and provided brief information about the current program.

The Deputy Minister particularly stated the following three main areas in which the Ministry will be working next year:

1. Substantial increase in the number of youth programs in the provinces in the context of proportional territorial development, as well as increase in the level of engagement of youth of the provinces in the context of solutions to youth issues;

2. Informal education as implementation of the activities for recognition of the instruments to be used to solve the issue of youth unemployment;

3. Promotion of the development of international cooperation between youth and the mobility of youth.

During the meeting, the representatives of the non-governmental organizations had the opportunity to make their recommendations for the enhancement and deepening of cooperation.
