For NGOs registered in the online grant system of the RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs
From September 29 to 30, the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Armenia is organizing the “Organizing Training Courses for Building the Capacities and Skills of Youth Non-Governmental Organizations” Program in Yerevan.

The participants of the program will be introduced to the skills and methods of writing a plan, the ways of drafting and submitting applications for grant programs that are effective and in line with the prescribed standards, the online grant system operating within the scope of the state youth policy, the procedure for provision of grants to non-governmental organizations through the system and the changes that the procedure has undergone.

The hosts of the course will provide detailed information about the preparation of budgets for grant programs, the form of estimates, the pricing criteria, as well as the procedure for correct preparation and submission of reports.

The participants will try to write a plan and prepare a budget and an estimate, after which they will engage in a discussion and receive answers to their questions of concern. At the end of the course, the participants will be granted certificates.

The program is open to a total of 60 representatives of non-governmental organizations from Yerevan and the provinces of the Republic of Armenia.

To participate in the program, please send a letter for participation stating the name of the non-governmental organization, number of participants (maximum 2 persons), names and last names and contacts of the participants to cragrer.am@gmail.com by September 23, 2016.

The RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs will cover the expenses for food and stay of the representatives of regional non-governmental organizations in Yerevan and the expenses for food for the non-governmental organizations of Yerevan. The sending party will cover expenses for travel to and from Yerevan.

If there are more applications than expected, the applications will be assessed based on the following standards:

* the application of only one person from each non-governmental organization will be accepted;

* the proportion of regional representation will be maintained (maximum of 30 participants from the provinces of the Republic of Armenia);

* organizations with no experience in winning grants for programs and implementing them will be at an advantage.
